Our mortgage investing company, Lord Mortgage, would place the mortgage on the property. As the mortgage investor, you would be the first mortgage investing holder on the property (in first position). All mortgage investments are title insured to 125% of the mortgage loan. The borrower on the property pays for the title insurance. The property is insured at 125% of the loan amount. The fire, wind and liability, taxes and insurance are a mortgage requirement to be kept current. The investor would be named as the loss payee. As a licensed mortgage investment lender, we close all of our mortgage loans in our company name “Lord Mortgage And Loan” and then assign the mortgage to you as the investor.
